Case study: does it exist?

01 march, 2019

IFA Ukraine together with Legal High School conducted the Discussion Hub "Case study: does it exist?" The event took place on 25 of February 2019 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Scientists, judges, lawyers, as well as international experts, discussed whether there is a case-law in Ukrainian judicial practice. Nataliya Blazhivska, IFA Ukraine President, noted “The question of whether there is a precedent in Ukraine arose among lawyers after the procedural legislation fixed the principle of unity of judicial practice.” Experts came to the conclusion that the role of judicial practice in Ukraine will increase. One of the main challenges is to increase the quality of court decisions.

IFA Ukraine is grateful to all speakers and participants for the interesting and lively debate during the Discussion Hub "Case study: does it exist?"
